Illinois Hunter Shoots 30-Point Antlered Doe

ICYMI: December 2011
Taken near the West Salem/Mount Erie Illinois area; Richard Lomas shot the buck of a lifetime... that turned out to be a DOE. That's right, a 30-point non-typical doe estimated to have been 4-1/2 years old!

“I would say that’s the biggest, baddest doe ever taken in Illinois,” Tim Walmsley, author of Trophy Whitetails of Illinois, told the told Heartland Outdoors.. “Mike Lock had a big 23-pointer with no beams in Fulton County years ago that was a lot like this one. But this one has even more stuff. Bass Pro Shops owns the Lock deer.”
