Inuit hunters rely on the polar bear for food and income. This is NOT the photo of trophy hunting, but pure survival. Canada hosts 80% of the world's polar bear population and insists that there hasn't been a noticeable drop in numbers, despite being listed as a threatened species. While animal rights groups continue to push for a ban on polar bear hunting, the Inuit hunters continue on with the blessing of the Canadian government.
